Understanding the keypad controls

  AWAY
Press and hold the AWAY button for 3 seconds to ARM your alarm. The ARM LED will illuminate
and you should immediately leave the premises.

  STAY
Press and hold the STAY button for 3 seconds to ARM your alarm EXCLUDING the master
bedroom (and possibly other zones if so programmed by your installer). The ARM LED will
illuminate and you should immediately proceed to the master bedroom.

  CHIME
Press and hold the CHIME key for 3 seconds to turn on the door minder function. If a zone which
has an entry delay is entered, the keypad will beep to let you know someone is in the area. Press
and hold the CHIME key again to turn this feature OFF.

  RESET
Press and hold the RESET key for 3 seconds if you have latching fire detectors and they have
activated. This will re-arm the fire detection circuits.

  EXIT
EXIT is not used on New Zealand alarm panels.

  PANIC - MEDICAL - FIRE buttons.
Push these buttons together (as a pair) for 3 seconds to activate these alarms.

Disarming your alarm
Enter your 4-digit code to disarm your alarm.
If the siren is operating for any reason, enter your code to stop it.

OTHER FEATURES

TROUBLE LED
Your alarm is always self-checking, looking for problems. If any are detected the trouble LED will
light, and the keypad may beep.
Press any key to stop the beeping.
If you want to know what is wrong with your alarm press * then 2. The zone LEDS will light to tell
you what the trouble is :

1 = Service Required
2 = Loss of AC Power
3 = Telephone Line is cut
4 = Communications failure
5 = Sensor or zone fault
6 = Sensor or zone tamper
7 = Sensor low battery
8 = Loss of time and date

Changing Access Codes
There are 35 access codes that you can change.
Codes 01-32 are for general users of the alarm.
Codes 33 and 34 are duress codes - they will disarm the alarm, but will send a silent panic alarm
to the monitoring station.
Code 40 is the master code. This code allows you to change the other codes.
To change a code :
Press * 5 then enter your MASTER code
Press 01 if you wish to change code 01, 06 if you wish to change code 06 etc.
Enter the new code
Press # to exit programming mode.

Bypassing a zone
If you need to arm your alarm, but you wish to bypass a zone, proceed as follows:
Press * then 1.
Press 01 to bypass zone 1, 04 to bypass zone 04 etc.
Press # to exit programming.
The Bypass LED will be lit. Next time you AWAY arm your alarm, the selected zones will be
bypassed.
