Unmonitored Alarms
These alarms are still effective for relatively low risk situations, with little risk of medical, fire, hold up or duress (forced disarm) in medium density population areas. They rely on the reluctance of a criminal to remain on your property when a loud siren and flashing lamp are operating. Generally these alarms are becoming obsolete, and if you purchase one, be sure it is capable of being monitored at a later date. Some model of these alarms can send signals to your mobile phone or telepager. Noise controls imposed by councils may make these alarms less effective or illegal in some areas.
Monitored Alarms
These alarms are recommended for most applications. A small computer built into your alarm reports medical emergencies, panic, fire, hold up or duress, as well as burglary via your standard phone line, or a cellular circuit. Our monitoring station recieves data that is so detailed the monitoring station know if you have a power cut, your alarm needs service, even the order of entry and exit taken by an intruder. In areas where a Licensed Guard Service is available, a professional Security Guard will respond to alarm activations. A typical ESL alarm incorporates protection for Burglary, Panic, Medical Emergency, Forced disarm, and Fire. You may choose from "budget" monitoring which is essentially all alarm and fault conditions, to enhanced services where we will phone you to remind you to set your alarm, call you if your alarm is disarmed out of hours or any other service you require.
Medical Alarms
This is the way to remain safe and independent in your own home when faced with living alone with a medical condition. A simple bedside unit, with an emergency button is monitored 24 hour a day by our monitoring station. Press the large button on the unit, or use a wireless pendant and help is on its way. You can choose your medical provider, friends or relatives or the ambulance service. Ambulance responses are free, as we join you as a friend of St. John. These alarms meet WINZ criteria and are the perfect way to keep your independence.
Access Control
ESL can offer access control from small local keypads for your office to a full swipecard or proximity card system for large offices, multi storey buildings, lift control, secure storage etc.
Closed Circuit TV
CCTV Systems are the most cost effective way to protect your business from robbery, customer theft and staff fraud. ESL can offer the worlds leading brands, as well as quality budget equipment. A combination of visible and covert cameras provides the best protection, and ESL are happy to provide temporary protection for specific problems.
Driveway Sensors
No one sneaks up your driveway with one of these beauties. Simply place the Motion detector by the gate and out the receiver inside your home. A person or vehicle passing the sensor will cause the sensor to chime, alerting you to the presence of a visitor or intruder. Easy to install.
